It consists of a chitosan solution and a kieselsol silica solution which are added in 2 steps to treat the most common causes of cloudiness in beer or wine. It's dry bitterness balances the sweetness of the fruit creating a more rounded flavor. Tannin can also improve clarity and improve aging by removing excessive proteins from the wine.
