The Penn Controls Mechanical Temperature Controller (A19AAT-2C) is a single-stage cooling control with Single-Pole, Single-Throw (SPST) switches that open on temperature drop. This thermostat is designed to override the on-board refrigerator thermostat and provide accurate temperature control outside of the range of the on-board thermostat. It is pre-wired with a 6ft cord and has polarized, grounded, in-series male plug. It has a female plug-end that is mounted to the control with a strain relief fitting. The A19AAT-2 model thermostat has an adjustable 20º to 80°F (-7º to 27°C) set point range, a fixed differential, and is enclosed in a rugged steel NEMA 1 enclosure. Includes a beaded chain mounting hanger with sleeves and snap plugs.
This temperature controller is specifically designed for temporary temperature control and requires no drilling or modification to the factory thermostat or appliance. It is suited for portable space heaters, refrigerators and freezers, agricultural and home brewing applications.
