#9 x 1-3/4in Aglica Wine Corks

  • Aglica wine corks were developed for the wine industry to reduce corkiness, random oxidation and leakage. They are made from 'suberin' (the purest part of the cork) and a polymer which enhances the natural elasticity and sealing properties of the cork. The corks are symmetrical and composed of agglomerated cork granules for consistency from end to end. Aglica corks are for wines aged 12 to 18 months and can be laid on their side immediately after corking.
