A stainless steel blowoff tube offers several advantages over other airlocks and is used to allow fermentation gases to escape the fermenter while preventing unwanted organisms and oxygen to enter. The angled design is intended to fit plastic or glass carboys and is simply inserted into the hole of a rubber stopper or carboy cap. Carboy stopper sold separately.
