The Fermtech Auto-Siphon can start siphoning beer or wine with just a single stroke without disturbing sediment due to it's anti-sediment tip. It is easy to use and has a smooth, leak-free operation. The anti-sediment tip, the racking cane and the body disassemble easily for cleaning. This is the ideal size for 1 gallon jugs and other containers up to 13-1/2in tall.
The Fermtech Auto-Siphon is not only easy and saves times, but it is also more sanitary. It requires a minimum of 4ft of 5/16in ID food-grade vinyl tubing and can be used with a 3/8in Auto-Siphon clamp which are available separately.

Diffusion stones, or 'air stones', are commonly used to aerate wort or artificially carbonate beer and other beverages. Diffusion Stones can be attached to compressed oxygen tanks, CO2 tanks or air pumps. It is composed of stainless steel and has a 2 micron stone with a 1/4in OD barbed fitting. Diffusion stones require a high pressure which is easily achieve with compressed gas or high-powered air pumps. However, low-powered air pumps may not work well. Do not handle diffusion stone with bare hands because oils and dirt from skin can clog the pores.

Briess Caramel 80ºL malt is a dark crystal malt made with 2-row barley. It imparts a red to deep-red color with flavors of burnt-sugar and raisin while adding body and improved head retention. A light use can add a deep richness to pilsners and a heavier use can impart a deep color and raisiny flavor to any style of beer. Briess caramel malts are roasted to create glassy, crystallized sugars with rich flavor and color.
